Here’s The Release Date For The Home Alone Reboot
Bring.it.on.
Deciding which Christmas movie is the best of all time is a topic sure to divide opinions, but whether or not cult classic Home Alone takes your #1 spot, you still can’t deny the brilliance of the franchise.
This is why fans of the film are so invested in the upcoming reboot. Cleverly named ‘Home Sweet Home’ the nostalgic flick will follow a similar plotline to the one we’re familiar with. Of course, Macaulay himself won’t have a part in the film, with child star Archie Yates instead taking his place in a new role, Max Mercer.

Now, as we prepare to bid summer a farewell, fans are looking forward to cosying up in front of the reboot more than ever, and good news as we don’t actually have too long to wait as it’s set to land on Disney Plus on the 12th of November.
Oh, and if you’re not excited enough already, our very own Aisling Bea has a part in it, playing the part of Carol, although we’re not quite sure what that means, and judging from her Tweet on the news of her role, neither does Aisling.
“If you’re asking I play the part of all the children, especially the youngest, I also actually play the idea of a home”
Fair.
This reboot will be the sixth addition in the ever-growing franchise, with the original movie raking in just under $500 following its release in 1990.
Roll on November, we say!
