Spice Girls’ fans know it’s Viva Forever, and the band is proving that as they plan to reunite.

No, not for a new album, like we were all hoping for. But their new project is still pretty exciting as they will be spicing up our lives one again, but this time for a docuseries on the band’s rise to fame.

Stop right now, A new docuseries? Sounds brilliant right? It is being spearheaded by the creators of Netflix’s The Last Dance, which followed basketball player Michael Jordan’s impressive career. So the project is in good hands.

Scary Spice herself, Mel B, confirmed the news on Australian TV show The Project. Sharing her joy to be working with the team, saying: “The director and the whole concept of how that was shot and filmed is really, really, really good. So we’ll be doing our own version with them.”

So Mel B will obviously be involved, but what about the other Spices?

Well, their giving us everything, all that joy can bring as all five girls, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Mel B, and Geri Halliwell are reportedly signed on for the project.

It is said to feature interviews from the girls about the story of the band, and their experience in the music industry.

Unfortunately, there is no word on a release date. But fans have a pretty strong theory about when we could expect the series.

Everyone knows (and loves) Spice World, their bizarre and hilarious film. Well, it will be turning 25 next year, so maybe in celebration of it’s anniversary they may release the docuseries!

And apparently this isn’t the only project we can expect from the Spice Girls next year. It is also rumoured that they will be headlining Glastonbury Music Festival 2023! But so far none of the members have commented on this, so we’ll have to wait and see.
