Here’s What Nikita From MAFS UK Had To Say About Being Removed From The Show

Married At First Sight UK’s Nikita Jasmine has spoken out for the first time since being dramatically removed from the reality show.

Last week’s episode saw the 26-year-old kicked off the show during a recoupling ceremony, after she behaved ‘unacceptably’ during a dinner party. In a statement released by the show last week they explained:

“The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond”

“During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour”

“All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved.”

Now, speaking to The Sun for the first time since she left the show Nikita said:

“I am truly gutted to have left the show”

“I loved every minute of the experience but it was a rollercoaster of emotions, and sometimes they got the better of me”

Continuing on, Nikita explained the incident on the show, admitting that it was out of character for her.

“But that’s me as a person and I am truly sorry for any upset I caused during my time in the experiment. However, I will always stand up for what I believe in”

“The dinner party was very overwhelming and did become stressful. I can be loud and lairy, I’ll admit that, but I try to be a good person and have others’ backs. This can confuse people occasionally. But I do think I am misunderstood.”

“When I left the show I was ready to leave. I fully understand the reasons for my removal and am aware of the repercussions of my actions.”

“At the end of the day I am just a human being and I am never going to be perfect. I don’t think anyone in this world is.”
