Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Luvly bits

Did you get Sabrina Carpenter tickets today?

If your answer is ‘no,’ congratulations, us neither. If your answer is ‘yes,’ we do not want to speak with you.

To quell the deep disappointment we’re all feeling today, we’ve put together a list of everything the STELLAR team has been loving this week. Excluding gig tickets.

Head of Digital Jade is loving… Solid scents

I’m a big Rituals girlie. Who isn’t?!

The brand are top tier when it comes to homeware, beauty, and body products – and it’s easy to see why.

I recently got my hands on their Ritual of Karma candle and it smells of summer, even though we haven’t been getting a whole load of sunshine.

Delicate sweet lotus flower blends with uplifting white tea – yes, please.

Staff Writer Anja is loving…WICKED

We all know I’m a musical gal by now, so when I found out that WICKED was flying back to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, I couldn’t have been happier. Wicked was actually the first musical I ever saw in the Bord Gáis when I was twelve years old. And I don’t know, maybe because it was my first show or maybe it’s due to the fact that the music and acting is next to none, but since that moment it has remained one of my favourite musicals of all time.

What made this particular production all the more special, was that our very own Sarah O’Connor was cast as the first-ever Irish woman to play Glinda in the smash-hit musical – and she absolutely smashed it, might I add!

To give you some backstory, Wicked tells the untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two young women who first meet as sorcery students at Shiz University: the blonde and very popular Glinda and a misunderstood green girl named Elphaba. However, following an encounter with The Wizard, their friendship reaches a crossroads, and their lives take very different paths.

With the movie due to hit cinemas later this year, this really is no better time to book that ticket and learn what this fantastic musical is all about. The show is running until 14 September, while tickets can be purchased here.

Digital editor Bronwyn is loving… K Beauty

I’ve heard a lot about K Beauty AKA Korean Beauty in recent years. But trying to get my hands on these highly sought after products was pretty tough.

Now Boots is here to save the day and bring us some of the best K Beauty products.

Beauty of Joseon is a Korean brand which creates skincare using Hanbang, traditional Korean medicine ingredients. Their products aim to provide comfort and relaxation to the skin at pocket friendly prices. You can get your hands their hero Dynasty Cream, Revive Serum, and Glow Serum.

I’m simply obsessed!

Head of Digital Jade is loving… Handmade shampoo bars

Award winning ones, at that…

Janni Bars’ Dagda Shampoo Bar isn’t just sustainable, beautifully scented, and gorgeously packaged, it’s also Irish made. And award winning. How amazing?

This lovely product recently took gold at the Europe-wide, Free From Skincare Awards; as well as claiming a runner-up spot in the overall championships.

The Dagda Shampoo Bar was awarded first place in the Hair Care category, as judges described it as, “Quite seriously the best shampoo bar I have ever used.”

The bar is made from Baobab oil, packed with omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins A, D and E, as well as lemongrass and eucalyptus to give that gorgeous fresh smell.

Digital editor Bronwyn is loving… a cute mug

One thing about me is that I love a cup of tea. At least once every hour, on the hour after I wake up.

And to make my tea even better, I love a cute mug. I’ve been a huge fan of Howard Studios for a few years now. I love their cowboy core pieces.

It was my birthday recently and I was gifted not one but two mugs from their Taylor Swift collection. And best believe I will be buying a Sabrina Carpenter mug ASAP!
