Here’s What The Friends Cast Reckon Their Characters Would Be Up To Now

Okay, we can literally envision all of this.

It’s been a pretty good week for Friends fans. With the official trailer for the Friends Reunion Show dropping last week, the Friends cast has been doing interviews and chatting to media outlets all about the sitcom and their real feelings on it.

With the show ending way back in 2004, 16 years have passed since we saw Rachel get off the plane for Ross, and Monica and Chandler begin their new life with their babies. If you’ve seen the last episode, you probably thought to yourself, I wonder what they’re doing now?

Well, wonder no more, because the cast has just revealed what they think their characters would be up to.

Kicking off with Rachel, Jennifer Aniston told People: “I would like to have maybe started a clothing line of my own, and it’s sort of a small franchise. Like a Nili Lotan. And I live in New York City on the Upper East Side,”

Courtney gave the most accurate description of what she thinks Monica would be up to now:

“I always just feel like Monica would be doing something competitively with other mothers and trying to outdo them. Whether it’s the bake sale at school or something. I mean, she’d be so annoying. She’d be at the head of the PTA or something.”

While Lisa said that Pheobe would be doing something very wholesome with her time:

“Living in Connecticut with Mike and their kids, and she’s in charge of the arts program for the school. (She’s) the advocate for her kids because they’re different like she was.”

So, what about the boys then? What are they getting up to all these years later?

Matthew Perry said that Chandler would firstly be “a wonderful father” and secondly, “a wonderful comedy writer” – well, at least now we would all know what his job actually is.

While Matt reckons Joey would remain very on brand saying he “would have opened a chain of sandwich shops”, with Matthew chiming in to say “and eaten all the sandwiches”.

And, as for Ross, David reckons he would have helped Joey along with his sandwich dream, at the cost of Ben and Emma’s college funds “he would’ve invested in Joey’s sandwich shop and lost a lot of his savings for his kids”, oh and he would have still been “playin’ with the bones” – once a palaeontologist, always a palaeontologist.

Ugh, we can’t wait to see the gang back together again. Not too much longer to go now, mark May 27th in your diary! Until then, take another look at the official trailer below.
