Digitally generated images have been taking over Instagram and TikTok recently.

You might have noticed them all over your feeds, as social media users have been using AI generators to alter their images into all sorts of wonderful creations.

The trend has taken off over the last month, as a number of different generators have sprouted up across internet.

From the PicsArt word to image generator, to the MyHeritage eras generator, to various in-app generators across the social platforms users have been losing their minds over the trendy AI art!

The main generator taking over Instagram is the PicsArt AI word-to-image generator.

This app works by typing in a few words or a sentence. The generator will then create a piece of art that relates to the words.

And needless to say, the results have been stunning!

Another AI TikTok filter creates an image based on a similar idea.

Users have been using the filter to for trends like ‘seeing a glimpse into your past life’. Users do so by typing in their date of birth.

Other users have been typing in their names to see how the filter perceives them.

The final filter which has been turning heads online is the MyHeritage website or app, where users have been attempting to see what they would look like in eras past and future.

Users are able to choose from a range of different presets from Greek Goddess, to 1970’s style on the generator to see how they would look.

The app is free to use for the first time, and you’re allowed to select a number of different decades!
