Here’s Who Sarah Michelle Gellar Thinks Should Star In The Buffy Reboot

While we’re enjoying reboot after reboot, plenty of Buffy fans are left wondering where the Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot is. The show debuted way back when in 1997, and had so many of us hooked immediately.

I’m not going to go into the premise of the show, as we all know exactly what it was about, and if not? The clue is in the name.

Although, even though the reboot isn’t in the works or even confirmed, Sarah Michelle Gellar, aka Buffy herself, already knows who she’d like to play Buffy – and I can’t help but agree with her.

Evan Ross Katz, who wrote a book on an analysis of the iconic series: ‘ Into Every Generation a Slayer is Born: How Buffy Staked Our Hearts’, asked Sarah who she thinks should star in the reboot if it happened. She simply shared: “I vote Zendaya.”

In the book, Buffy co-star Julie Benz agreed with her. “That would be amazing.”

We’re not exactly shocked, as Zendaya is everywhere right now and seems to be at the top of everyone’s list.

Although, after a few years of focussing on acting, Zendaya is taking a step back into the music industry, having featured on the Euphoria soundtrack working with Labrinth to create some beautifully crafted music for the show.
