This Is Why Everyone Thinks Kim’s Tweet About Needing A ‘New Bakery’ Was A Dig At Blac Chyna
Touché.
Given the volume of Instagram posts, blog posts and Snapchats produced by the Kardashian clan on a daily basis, you’d think some of the less dramatic ones would fall off the radar.
But thanks to the legion of eagle-eyed fans out there, Kim, Khloé and co can’t so much as post a tweet without it being analysed and examined to the core.
Like when Kim innocently misspelled Giorgio Armani’s name in a tweet about his foundation line last year, for example. The flub not only went viral within minutes, but it even drew attention from Armani’s camp themselves, who jumped in to correct Kim’s spelling. Ouch.
@KimKardashian Dear Kim – let us know which one you need and we’ll send it to you. And Mr. Armani’s first name is Giorgio.

It’s no surprise then, that a seemingly casual tweet from Kim earlier this week about looking for a good bakery in the Los Angeles area would be subject to the same level of scrutiny. But for once, it turns out that reading between the lines really did pay off.
“Ok guys my family is looking for a new bakery. What are the yummiest cake spots in la that makes amazing cakes & cupcakes?” Kim wrote.

So far, so casual.
Until we examine the evidence. For years, the Kardashian family have used the same bakery for all of their birthdays, baby showers and family events – Hansen Cakes in downtown LA. Take a look at any Kardashian party picture and you’re bound to spot one of the bakery’s buttercreamed delights.
Kim’s baby shower last year, for one:
Plus Kylie’s 18th:
Oh, and Kendall’s last birthday:
The list goes on. So why stop using Hansen’s now? The bakery hasn’t shut, after all.
Well, it turns out there’s a very good reason. This cake, to be precise:
The folks at the New Yorker spotted the cake on Hansen’s blog, one of four made by Hansen’s for Rob Kardashian last month as a gift to Blac Chyna.
The other three cakes were to celebrate ChyMoji, Blac’s range of personalised AppleStore emojis which aren’t dissimilar to Kim’s Kimoji collection.
Yup, it seems that the K-fam spotted this cake treachery and are now hot-footing it to a new bakery.
At least, we’re guessing that’s what went down, but hey, maybe we’re just reading between the lines….
