Taylor Swift fans have been waiting for the songstress to go on tour since before the pandemic. Before Covid hit Taylor was supposed to perform a series of outdoor gigs to celebrate her Lover album, but of course never got to follow through when the world went into lockdown.

Since then, Tay Tay has been busy releasing Folklore and Evermore which got us through the pandemic as well as her own versions of her classic albums, Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version). Phew, that is a LOT of albums she has yet to tour…

During her Lover Era Taylor was supposed to headline iconic music festival Glastonbury, sadly thanks to Covid-19, this was cancelled too. And with this year being the first year since Covid that the festival returned, Taylor was reportedly offered her slot back but decided against it for now.

According to Capital FM a source said, “Of course, she would absolutely love to headline at some point. It is still on her bucket list but performing isn’t her priority right now.

“She has old albums which she is still working on re-recording and getting those finished is her priority.”

Taylor is currently re-recording her first six albums in a bid to own her music. Her original versions were sold to Scooter Braun in 2019, an arrangement that Taylor was reportedly unaware of until the sale became public knowledge.

With Fearless and Red already re-released on her own terms, Taylor has four albums yet to be re-released, Speak Now, 1989, Taylor Swift and Reputation. With this as priority, we’re predicting a Taylor tour once they are all out so she can sing whatever she likes at her concert and feel like she owns it.

We will be keeping an eye on Taylor’s schedule and if there’s a hint of a tour in the works, we’ll be sure to let you know!
