POV it’s 2003 and you’re browsing the magazines in your local shop, you see all your favourite teen idols on the same cover and you are imagining what it must have been like to be there.

Well, now nearly 20 years later, we know a bit about what it was like, and we don’t think it sounds too great…

We all know the one, the Olsen twins, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, Raven Symone, Mandy Moore, Alexis Bledel and Evan Rachel Wood. Truly a moment in time.

In a more recent interview with Vanity Fair, during a lie detector test Hilary Duff shared what it felt like to be on set that day.

When asked if the cover was a career high for the star, she responded, “I remember being like, ‘This is cool I was included in this.’ But no, this was a very high-stress, anxiety-inducing day.” Yikes.

Hilary did have that infamous feud with Lindsay Lohan over Aaron Carter, which was in full swing in 2003 so we’re sure that was a frosty reception…

But luckily Hilary is on good terms with at least one of the other gals in the pic even now, she said, “Mandy [Moore] and I are great friends now. So, this is very funny.”

In the interview Hilary also shared that she gets free passes into Disneyland since she grew up on Disney Channel, very cool!

“When I ask to go usually we always have a guide and the guide will take us to the front of the line, sometimes to a short line with other people who have a guide at Disneyland on that day. But they usually ask for social pictures and I’m always fine with that.

“And the last time we went they had a huge bag of like all different kinds of ears and stuff and they let us keep them all. But I do feel uncomfortable to ask for free things, still. So usually we just go hit the shop and buy it and I think that’s part of the fun with the kids anyway,” she explained.

What a nice perk!
