Iggy Azalea Reveals The Unique Name Of Her Little Baby Boy
The popstar welcomed her first child in June.

Iggy Azalea was one of many mothers across the world who faced the challenging but unforgettable event of welcoming a child during a global pandemic.
Announcing the birth in June, Iggy broke the news on Instagram writing:
“I have a son.
“I kept waiting for the right time to say something, but it feels like the more time passes, the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world.”
One who keeps her private life very private, Iggy didn’t divulge on any more baby details at that time, but now she has revealed the name of her little baby boy and it’s very unusual.
Posting a new clip to her Instagram, Azalea is speaking to her little boy, asking him to speak back to her. The clip is titled: “Amethyst & Onyx”.
And any major Iggy fans will know the 30-year-old rapper’s real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly, meaning the little boy’s name must be Onyx.
Cute!
Onyx means black gemstone and has been used predominantly by parents looking for a non gendered name. As Iggy’s real name means jewel, both names also correspond beautifully.

Azalea is currently dating fellow rapper Playboi Carti and the pair have been together since 2018.
