“I’m going to miss you Caz.” Twitter Praises Iain Stirling’s Tribute To Caroline Flack
He paid a heart touching tribute to Caroline on last night's episode of Love Island.
After Sunday night’s episode of Love Island was understandably cancelled, the news came that the Monday night episode would air, with a tribute to Caroline Flack.
While it couldn’t have been an easy thing to do, commentator Iain Stirling paid tribute to Caroline on behalf of the Love Island team at the beginning of last night’s episode. “We are all absolutely devastated by the tragic news that Caroline, a much loved member of our Love Island family, has passed away. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this dreadful time,” he said.
“Caroline and me were together from the very start of Love Island and her passion, warmth and infectious enthusiasm were a crucial part of what made this show connect with millions of viewers.”

He then continued, “Like many of you right now we are all just trying to come to terms with what has happened. My only hope is that we can all try to be kinder, always show love and listen to one another. Caroline I want to thank you for all the fun times we had making our favourite show. You were a true friend to me. I’m going to miss you Caz.”
At the start of the episode, many people took to Twitter to praise Iain’s tribute.

Since then, more and more tributes have been pouring in for Caroline, with many supporting the “Caroline’s Law” petition.
I’m behind any action taken to stop this happening to anyone else. It’s abuse and from now on I’m just going to call it that. https://t.co/CTKIHhl4vU

They would slash her tyres to get a reaction. They camped outside her home until she had to move. It broke her heart. Nothing will bring her back, but maybe this will help someone else. Please sign this petition if you can. Caroline’s Law | 38 Degrees https://t.co/8X4hxwPB1U

The ITV Director, Kevin Lygo, has also spoken out in tribute to Caroline, ‘Caroline was part of Love Island from the very beginning and her passion, dedication and boundless energy contributed to the show’s success. ‘After Caroline stepped down from the show ITV made it clear that the door was left open for her to return and the Love Island production team remained in regular contact with her and continued to offer support over the last few months.’
Our thoughts go out to her family and friends at this time.
