‘I’m Willing And Open’: Russell Brand Opens Up About Wanting Katy Perry Back In His Life

"Katy is an extraordinary woman..."

We’d always thought Katy Perry and Russell Brand were the perfect couple. Their wackiness and weirdness complimented each other perfectly and they always seemed so happy… That is, until they weren’t.

Their divorce in 2012 shocked many of us, and the fact that it wasn’t an amicable split made it all the more difficult.

But now, speaking to Grazia, it seems Russell has had a change of heart. He has opened up about his marriage to Katy and admits he’d like to have her back in his life. “It was a very important and lovely time in my life. I don’t regret being married to Katy at all. I have very positive feelings about that whole experience and Katy is an extraordinary woman,” he said.

Then when asked about the matching tattoo he’d gotten with his ex, he said, “Of course I’m going to keep it!” The pair got identical Sanskrit tattoos on their right inner arms shortly after they became engaged in 2010, which read “Anuugacchati Pravaha,” meaning “go with the flow.”

Russell added that, “I’m willing and open for reconciliation, any kind. Because if we can’t overcome our relatively trivial personal disputes in this world, what hope is there for us?”
