Insta Creep: Celebs Are Rallying Around Stacey Solomon After A Magazine Branded Her ‘Desperate’…
What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.
In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.
Hamilton fans, you’ll enjoy this – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went to the West End production of the musical last night, and joined the cast on stage after the bow.
The musical tells the story of Alexander Hamilton, one of the American Founding Fathers, and one of the characters just so happens to be King George III, Harry’s great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather. (Say ‘great’ again. Great.)
The portrayal isn’t exactly favourable – King George prances around in a crown and a cape and threatens violence if he doesn’t get his way – but Harry seemed to enjoy it, poking fun at himself by singing the opening words of George’s song:
"You say…"
Thank you to the cast and crew of @HamiltonWestEnd for a fantastic performance, raising awareness and funds for @Sentebale's work with children and young people affected by HIV #HamiltonLDN pic.twitter.com/M5hmjTfhEz

Meghan reportedly told one cast member that Harry sings along to the soundtrack all the time, so obviously he’s been waiting for this moment for a while. Gas.
Celebs are rallying around Stacey Solomon after a magazine branded her ‘desperate’ and ‘boring’.
The Loose Women presenter shared a photo of herself on the cover of Now magazine – the headline reads: “Stacey: ‘Boring’, ‘Desperate’, ‘Cheap’ – Why Fans Are SICK Of Her.” Like, how rude?
That’s the meanest thing I’ve ever seen. @celebsnow … pic.twitter.com/k8KvuxyXjB

A raft of celebrities including Stephen Fry, Laura Whitmore, Olly Murs, This Morning’s Alison Hammond have come to her defence, informing her that she is in fact a treasure:
I think you're wonderful too x

Empowered Women empower women. This cover is everything that’s wrong with our society. Stacey we love you x

Thanking her supporters, Stacey said:
[The magazine] goes from telling girls to get a revenge body (because it must be their body that caused any upset in their lives, and changing that is the only way to fix it) to Stacey’s celebrating her natural body and we’re bored of it…
“The best thing to come out of this is that thousands of people disagree with this awful, bullying journalism and won’t stand for it,” she wrote. “The best thing to come out of social media is learning that most people are inherently kind.”
YouTuber Zoella was amused to discover that her face is being used to sell ironing boards in Turkey.
Quite a few fans have been alerting Zoe and her boyfriend Alfie Deyes to the ads – it appears that they’ve (badly) Photoshopped her head on to another woman’s body:
IM LITERALLY CRYINGGG! look at her LEGS pic.twitter.com/TZcKmlH0Na
— Alfie Deyes (@AlfieDeyes) August 28, 2018
She’s taking it pretty well though, joking with her followers on her Insta Story: “This company have photoshopped me into their ironing board and I am howling at the legs to body ratio and the fact this exists.” You’ve made it, girl.
And now it’s time for… #SponConCorner
*Spon con = sponsored content. Who’s flogging what, and why?!
Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry has had extensive surgery to give her the ‘look’ that’s fashionable at the moment – boob jobs, a nose job, fillers, and most recently, a Brazilian butt lift for Kardashian-style curves.
Why oh why then is she advertising a ‘muscle stimulator’ when her followers know perfectly well that her arse was constructed by doctors, not a little buzzy yoke? Come on now.
