Insta Creep: Demi Lovato Has Revealed She’s Relapsed After Six Years Of Sobriety…
What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.
In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.
Demi Lovato has released a new song in which she seems to admit to relapsing after years of sobriety.
The singer has been candid about her struggles with addiction and eating disorders, admitting in a 2017 documentary that she regularly smuggled drugs on planes and did interviews while high.
She celebrated six years of sobriety in March, however in her new single Sober, she sings: “Momma, I’m so sorry, I’m not sober any more/ And daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor.”
Her fans have rallied to support her, many of whom have struggled with addiction themselves:
Not going to lie, this breaks my heart. I’ve been sober 5 years so it hits home. Demi, I send you so much love. I hope you have found your way back and if not, we hope to see you back soon. Love you so much. Thank you for your truth. https://t.co/TLKPnFDVL6

recovery is a daily battle. sobriety is a daily battle. relapse does happen. we are only human. no human can fight and fight and fight everyday to the fullest – everyone has got those days/weeks were we feel weak. but its important to get up and continuing to fight. #sober

Sending our love to Demi.
Eva Longoria has posted the first picture of her newborn son – and used it to make a very important point about the separation of families at the US/Mexico border.
Hello world! I introduce to you Santiago Enrique Bastón. Thank you everyone for showering my baby boy with all your warm wishes! Special thanks to @usahola. In light of my son’s birth I wanted to bring focus on the families that have been separated at the border. Having my son next to me, I cannot imagine him being taken from my arms. Families belong together which is why we must do what we can to reunite them. That’s why I am supporting @raicestexas and @aclu_nationwide to help fund legal services for separated families (link in bio) #KeepFamiliesTogether
Poor Eva seemed to have been pregnant for the longest time, but finally she gave birth to Santiago Enrique Bastón on Tuesday. She said the birth made her realise the true cruelty of the US border policy:

She also included a link to donate to the legal fund for the families affected by the separation. What a gal. Congrats, Eva and fam!
We are taking this particular bit of spon con out of its corner because in fairness, it’s pretty good spon con.
Chrissy Teigen is very generously promoting her husband John Legend’s new rosé, but if you thought she’d do it for free cos they’re married… well:
My husband, John, asked me to post this because I have a much bigger social following than him. He said just something short and to the point. I said, “OK John!” then had my agents follow up with a comprehensive pricing list. Did he want me to keep this up just for today? A week? Forever? Did he want me to take a photo *with* the product, or simply the product alone? These are important questions in an Instagram deal and marriage.

It can be stored in the fridge, on a dining table, a counter, in a cabinet, an end table, really wherever you want! congratulations, John!!! o buy it here: lvewines.com
She did later get on to the subject of the rosé itself, which she describes as ‘delightful’ and suitable to drink with everything from fish to cereal to hot dogs. She’s sold it to us TBH.
And now it’s time for… #TBT
The best celebrity throwback photos of the week.
We’ve got two this week! First, Naomi Watts posted a super cute picture of her old pal Nicole Kidman in honour of her birthday. Who among us does not have one of these photos hanging around in an album somewhere?
Happy Father’s Day to this hardly ever smiling OG bad ass. Little boys by nature, look up to and idolize their old man. They want to be just like em, do whatever they do and are always looking for their approval. Funny thing is the day I stopped looking for that approval was the day I understood what it meant to be man and more importantly, a father. That shift lifted me to a new level of gratitude for the tough love he always gave. Years later as a man and father of three girls, I know that tough love, is a helluva lot better than no love at all. I’ll take it. It’s made me who I am today. Grateful to the original Rock. #HappyFathersDay #KingStache #RockyJohnson
And here’s the Rock with his dad, the original Rock. You can see where he got it from, can’t you? Adorbs.
Have your say
