Insta Creep: Jason Momoa Called Out Chris Pratt For Using A Plastic Water Bottle, And Chaos Ensued…

What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.

In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.

Jason Momoa called out Chris Pratt for using a single-use plastic bottle. DC vs Marvel! Aquaman vs Star Lord!

Jason is a friend of the environment (and owner of an eco-friendly water company) and when Chris posted a photo of himself clutching a water bottle, he felt compelled to speak out:

Bro i love u but wtf on the water bottle. No single use plastic. Come on

However, people got mad at Jason for pointing this out, as apparently people get VERY mad at anyone who points stuff like this out (as evidenced by some of the reaction to Greta Thunberg), and he later decided to apologise.

“BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you and I love everything you do. I’m sorry this was received so badly today, I didn’t mean for that to happen,” Jason wrote, posting a photo of Chris meeting his kids.

I’m just very passionate about this single use plastic epidemic. The plastic water bottles have to stop… You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them. I’ll send you a case of MANANALU [his water brand, get the plug in there Jase].

Seeing that he is the United Nations Advocate For Oceans, we think Jason had every right to speak up. Keep going, Khal Drogo.

Lily James and Matt Smith are rumoured to have split, and people are hunting for clues as to what might have happened.

The couple were together for five years, but reports suggest their “hectic schedules” got in the way of their relationship.

They were spotted having lunch yesterday, but hadn’t been seen together in public for months – Matt has been out and about quite a bit with his The Crown co-star Claire Foy, with whom he is starring in a new play.

Lily, meanwhile, was on holidays in South Africa with a pal:

While there, she went to a cheetah sanctuary, and posted a picture of herself petting one of the big cats with the words ‘National Cheetahs’ emblazoned across it:

Fans and press alike have been wondering if the words could have a double meaning. It’d be quite out of character for her to make a public statement in this manner, but you never do know with these celebs…

Justin Bieber is reflecting on his use of the N-word several years ago, chalking it down to being ‘young and uneducated’.

A video surfaced of a 14-year-old Justin changing the words of his hit One Less Lonely Girl to include the N-word and references to the KKK – at the time, he claimed that he was just repeating a parody of the song he’d seen online, which… wasn’t a fantastic excuse.

Indirectly addressing the video on Instagram, he encouraged his followers to ‘stand against racism’:

“When I was young I was uneducated and found myself saying really hurtful things not knowing the power of my words,” he wrote in the caption. “Racism is still very prevalent and I want to use my voice to remind we are all human being and all of EQUAL VALUE BEFORE GOD!”

And now it’s time for… #WilloughbyWatch

Charting the public’s obsession with what Holly Willoughby is wearing.

This morning on This Morning, Holly is wearing a roll neck dress by Reiss – it’s hard to tell exactly but we think it’s this one, currently on sale for €150. It’s a sensible winter work dress, but her followers aren’t impressed.

“Go back to wearing nicer clothes. Than wearing granny clothes,” writes one. Good god.

We wanted to shout out yesterday’s outfit too, because it’s a little different and totally cute. The velvet shift dress is by her high street shop of the moment, Oasis (and on sale for €49), while the shirt is Claudie Pierlot – at €175 it’s not so pocket-friendly, but we appreciate the daring Victorian collar. For once, we and Holly’s followers are in agreement.
