Insta Creep: Megan Barton-Hanson Has Had To Deny She Kidnapped Her And Wes’ Hamster…

What all the celebs are up to on social, from A to Z listers.

In our gossip column, we indulge our nosiest desires and delve deep into what the celebs (and ‘celebs’) are doing on social media. Who’s tweeting and deleting? Who’s shady faving? Let’s find out.

The drama of Megan Barton-Hanson and Wes Nelson’s breakup continues as she denies ‘kidnapping’ their hamster Jon Snow.

Jon was referenced in the initial breakup statement, but we weren’t sure how much of that to believe (and we still aren’t, TBH) – but apparently he’s real, and much beloved by Megan.

A source told The Sun that Wes arrived home from Dancing On Ice training to discover the pet was missing:

Wes knew something was wrong the moment he came home from a day on the ice and couldn’t hear the squeak-squeak of Jon Snow’s wheel. It turned out Megan had swiped the hamster and cage and hit the road.

That source is a bit of a comedian, no? On her Instagram Story Megan admitted that she was missing her ‘baby’ Jon, but no, she had not kidnapped him:

“No words. Jon is going to need his own PR at this rate,” she wrote. Swear to god, this is getting more bizarre by the day.

The Kardashians are doing that thing again where they try to hype up their TV show by having public spats on social media.

Last night, Kourtney shared a photo of herself looking fabulous with the inexplicable caption: “Khloe is pissing me off today.”

Of course, her followers were all “What did Khloe do hun? Mail me x”, and Khloe was only TOO HAPPY to play her part.

“Ok but seriously, I didn’t look at the photo until now. You actually look pretty perfect. I still mean what I said,” Khloe commented, later sharing a load of inspirational memes on her own story about how “relationships are harder now” because of insecurity and jealousy? Or something?

We’ve no idea what it all means but we’re sure it will soon be a plot point on KUWTK.

Ashton Kutcher tweeted out what he claimed was his phone number, asking people to text him and saying he missed “having a real connection with people”. Hmm, okay.

A few hours later he deleted the tweet, explaining that he would repost the number soon after working through the messages.

A journalist from Wired Magazine texted the number and received an automated message asking them to ‘click a link’ in the text to add themselves to Ashton’s phone – they did so, and landed what appears to be a new social network. OF COURSE.

The terms of service say that Community (a name Ashton hinted at in his original tweet) provides its clients “including influencers, musicians, athletes, brands, actors” the ability to send and receive text messages from fans using a special phone number.

That’s a lot less exciting than Ashton Kutcher taking a notion and tweeting out his personal phone number. Sigh.

And finally, RTE News’ Caitriona Perry is pregnant! She confirmed the news on Twitter after Six One viewers noticed a lil’ baby bump.

“To all the eagle-eyed Six One viewers who have been in touch… you are correct! I am expecting some ‘news’ of my own later this year,” she tweeted.

Cute. (But we have to laugh that she confirmed it because Six One viewers are NOSY AS HELL. Simmer down, folks!)
