Is Gilmore Girls Getting Another Reboot?

Ok, so we are so deprived of things to do at the moment, and having already finished Netflix, any news of a new series would get us excited.

But when the show in question is cult classic Gilmore Girls? We squealed a bit.

The show, which first came out in 2000 and had seven seasons, was a massive hit. It’s kinda like Friends, as you can go back and rewatch it over and over and never get bored, it’s so comforting.

Nine years after the last series aired, the show was given a reboot with a four part series based around the seasons, called ‘A Year In The Life’ and it had mixed reviews.

Instead of answering questions fans had from the end of the original series, it just left us with more! So of course there was instantly talk of another reboot in the future.

Now, star of the show, Lauren Graham who plays Lorelai Gilmore, has hinted that this may just be the case.

In a new interview she revealed that she always leaves a special clause in her contract in case she is ever asked to go back.

Speaking on Sirius XM she said; “I put that window into all my new jobs, just in case.”

Continuing she added that she does this to “carve out some pockets, just in case.”

There’s been talk of the show coming back for a while, so we’re glad to hear that one of it’s biggest stars is always ready to come back. For now, we’ll just have to do our millionth rewatch on Netflix.
