Is This The ‘Real’ Reason Grace & Luca Didn’t Win Love Island?
STELLAR PROMOTION: It starts with 'O' and ends with 'Livia'
Well, it’s over. Love Island All Stars has come to an end and Gabby and Casey have been crowned this year’s winners. Good for them!
The pair made it to the final two alongside Grace and Luca, and seemed genuinely surprised to be crowned the winners on last night’s show.
And seemingly, they weren’t the only ones, as many viewers were equally as shocked to see Grace and Luca miss out on the crown.
What was the reason behind this shock win? How did Gabby and Casey suddenly become the most popular couple?
Is there a conspiracy afoot? Or were they maybe just the most solid couple throughout the series and the public saw that and wanted to support them in this way?
According to fans, no, they weren’t – there was a specific reason why Grace and Luca didn’t win the entire show, and it’s all to do with Olivia Hawkins.
Over the weekend, dumped islander Olivia re-entered the villa and accused Grace of sending a message saying she would “do anything to win” the show.
Grace denied this accusation, but Olivia said she “had receipts”, and Sammie and Danielle backed her up.
This feud continued into the final, as Olivia told Maya: “I’ve seen them, I’ve said what I’ve said. You know me, I’m very straight talking. I’m straight to the point. I honestly wish them the best.”
Grace once again denied the allegations and said that neither she nor Luca cared about winning.
Less than an hour later, Gabby and Casey were crowned the winners of the show. Would the public have always voted this way? Or were they swayed by Olivia’s claims?
Honestly, we’ll probably never know. There’s always next year, Grace.
