It Looks Like A Lot Of Celebs Didn’t Want To Be In JLO’s Movie

Jennifer Lopez has released a new film called This Is Me … Now: A Love Story; which is essentially an action packed fantasy style metaphor for JLO’s own love life.

The movie is jam packed with celeb cameos, including Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Jane Fonda, Post Malone, Sofia Vergara, and many more. Impressive!

However, there were a lot of celebs who didn’t take part in the film – and who quite clearly weren’t interested in the first place!

Surprisingly, Jennifer decided to showcase her process of calling celebrities (and subsequently being turned down by them) on her behind the scenes documentary which she has also just released, called The Greatest Love Story Never Told.

In the documentary, JLO can be seen reaching out to different famous friends with her assistant, and being repeatedly rejected.

Some of the people she tries are Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Jason Momoa, Jennifer Coolidge, Zac Efron and Snoop Dogg.

What’s perhaps even more awkward, is how frustrated Jen gets when people don’t want to take part – loudly wondering why they don’t want to be in her movie, and suggesting that they don’t “get” what she’s trying to do.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Jennifer said of the scenes, ““The casting director and the other producers came in and they were like, ‘How about this person? This person’s not available.’

“And they started saying all these people. If you see me sitting there, that’s not what I want. What I want is people who represent a certain thing, who could understand what I’m trying to do here. And that’s what it took, because they needed to trust me, and at the end of the day. I think it was a big leap of faith for some of them.”

Well…she got some good ones in the end!
