It Looks Like Taylor Swift and Matty Healy Are Officially Over

After an alleged whirlwind romance, Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have reportedly called it quits.

The Cruel Summer singer was spotted hanging out with the lead singer of The 1975 in early May, starting a swirl of rumours about whether or not the pair were romantically linked. The duo stepped out a number of times in public, causing raised eyebrows over the legitimacy of the pairing.

Eagle eyed fans even spotted Matty at all six of Taylor’s shows on her Era’s Tour in Nashville and Philly, sitting comfortably with Swift’s dad and a few close friends, namely model Gigi Hadid.

However, it looks like any spark between the two has fizzled, as a source told PEOPLE that they are “no longer romantically involved”.

The source continued to share that the pair were “always casual”, but that Taylor did have fun with the singer. Matty never appeared to comment on the fling, though fans speculated he was referencing it while talking to the crowd at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee. Just before introducing the act, he said “Is it all a bit? Is it sincere? Will he ever address it? All of these questions and more will be ignored…”.

So, it looks like we’ll never know. All we really hope is that we get some good tunes out of it!
