It Turns Out That Star Of Bridgerton, Phoebe Dynevor Has A Famous Mum

The delicious limbo period between Christmas and New Year has been made even better this year with Netflix treating us to period drama, Bridgerton. The eight part show is all anyone is talking about right now and we may have binge-watched the entire season already…

The series follows the Bridgertons as well as other wealthy British families in London during the coming out season. The main focus is on them all finding a husband and of course there’s lots of drama along the way too.

It’s like a cross between Jane Austen and Gossip Girl and we cannot stop watching.

Something we discovered since the show aired is that main character, Daphne Bridgerton, who is excellently played by Phoebe Dynevor has a famous mother.

Her Mum is none other than Coronation Street star, Sally Webster, whose name in real life is also, oddly, Sally. It seems acting runs in the family.

We are shook, and once you see the resemblance it cannot be unseen.

The drama is doing amazingly well since it aired, and is currently the number one show in Netflix Ireland at the moment.

Shoutout to Ireland’s own, Nicola Coughlan who is totally brilliant as Penelope Featherington, one of our favourite characters.

Roll on series two…
