It’s Happening?! Here’s What You Need To Know About Gilmore Girls Returning To Netflix Again

Get excited because it looks like your all-time favourite show could be set to make a return to Netflix.

After binge-watching our way through Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life, a Netflix exec has revealed that there could be more in store for fans.

Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos told the Associated Press that they were in “very preliminary” talks with the show’s producers about the potential of a follow-up series.

“We hope [there’s more]. We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped,” he said.

“The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favourite show to come back and for it to disappoint you,” he added. “But they sure delivered and people were really excited about more, and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that.”

Hmm. Basically, there’s no official confirmation just yet, but we reckon it’s pretty likely we’ll be seeing new episodes added fairly soon.

It just has to happen, right? After all, we need answers to that cliffhanger, goddammit.
