Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are going to be enjoying engaged life for a little longer that planned.

It is reported that the pair, who got engaged in July of this year, will postpone all wedding celebrations until 2022.

It is being reported that the pair want to hold two very extravagant ceremonies, one in the Beckham’s Costwolds’ residence and another in Florida, for Nicola’s friends and family. The weddings which were originally planned for September 2021, have now been moved to 2022, as the pair want to make sure they can celebrate in style, the way they had planned.

Speaking to The Mirror, a source revealed that Brooklyn has told his friends that the celebrations have been put on pause as “it’s too risky”, with all their friends and family set to receive new details about the changed plans.

As for what’s going to happen with the weddings, we have little details so far. It’s believed that Nicola’s dad has agreed to pay for all the celebrations – Nelson Peltz is an American businessman and investor, worth an estimated $1.7 billion, fyi.

Victoria Beckham is believed to be designing Nicola’s wedding dress, with Brooklyn’s brothers acting as his best men. Brooklyn’s sister is also set to play a part in the wedding, apparently as “chief bridesmaid” according to The Sun.

Brooklyn and Nicola originally met at Coachella years ago and then, in 2019, reconnected at a party, dating for nine months before getting engaged. Nicola calls Brooklyn her “soulmate”, while Brooklyn noted Nicola as his “forever”, long before proposing.

These weddings will be something not to miss, anyway, that’s for sure!
