Jade’s Landed Herself A New Career – But What Does It Mean For The Future Of Little Mix?

Little Mix are our favourite band right now and we were only delighted to hear that bandmate Jade has reportedly landed herself a new career venture.

According to reports, she’s scored the part of Jasmine in a live action remake of Aladdin. That’s deadly news for Jade but according to Heat Magazine it’s sparked fears for the band’s future among the rest of the girls.

A source tells the mag: “The other girls knew Jade had auditioned for the movie, but when Jade realised she actually stood a chance of landing the part, she called a sit-down meeting with the band, backstage at the rehearsals for their tour.

The add: “When Jade basically said that if she was offered the part, it was likely she’d need time off the band, things got really emotional.”

The source goes on to explain that when Jade broke the news there was a lot of crying. “Obviously they want Jade to live out her dreams, but they don’t want the band to be over,” they explained.

Hmm. Could this really spell the end of LM as we know it? Somehow we doubt it.

In fact, The Mirror reports that Jesy, Leigh-Ann and Perrie couldn’t be happier for their friend and have vowed to make it work, despite Jade’s new schedule. An insider tells the newspaper that the girls have zero concerns about what this could mean for the the band.

Our verdict? Given how close this foursome are, we don’t see Jade’s side hustle having an sort of negative impact on Little Mix’s future.
