After his triumphant one round win against Ben Askren last weekend, Jake Paul is now set to take on professional boxer and reality star Tommy Fury.

Tommy offered to meet Jake Paul in the ring weeks ago, tweeting after the fight on Saturday that it was time to give the “people what the want”, tagging Jake Paul, to which the YouTuber agreed to.

The fight hasn’t been given a date yet however, it was agreed to under the condition that Tommy’s older brother and boxing legend Tyson Fury will take on Michael Hunter on the same night.

Speaking to ES news, it appears as though Jake is feeling confident that he can take on Tommy, who has won all five of his professional fights, winning four by knockout.

“Tommy is weak… and Tommy’s girlfriend [Molly-Mae Hague] DM’d me before they went on that reality show,” he claimed.

Adding the comment about Molly-Mae, whether true or not, is certainly a tactic Jake likes using to get under his opponent’s skin.

Neither Molly-Mae or Tommy have responded to Jake’s comment, however, it looks as though Molly-Mae is all up for Tommy taking on Jake Paul, resharing Tommy’s tweet confirming that there will be a match.

Both Jake and Tommy have been throwing digs at each other online for over a month now, with Tommy calling out Jake on social media last month by saying:

“Stick to your little YouTube videos behind your little desk and don’t come over to this boxing world cause you’ll get laid out in 30 seconds flat.”

Since turning pro last year, Jake Paul, similar to Tommy is yet to lose a fight, winning all his professional fights so far.

Well, this will certainly be one to watch when it all goes ahead – if it does.
