It’s been seven months since Jennifer Larence welcomed her first child into the world but now the Hollywood actress is opening up about motherhood for the first time – and let us tell you, she has some pretty wise words to share!

Prior to giving birth, Jennifer vowed she would do anything to guard her child’s privacy while planning not to talk about the baby she shares with her husband, Cooke Maroney. However, she’s since had a change of heart on the latter subject revealing the name of her beautiful baby boy to Vogue, who is called Cy after the postwar American painter Cy Twombly, one of Maroney’s favourite artists.

Speaking on the subject of Motherhood, Jennifer admitted that she was scared to talk about it, “Only because it’s so different for everybody.”

“If I say, It was amazing from the start, some people will think, ‘It wasn’t amazing for me at first,’ and feel bad,” she explained. “Fortunately, I have so many girlfriends who were honest. Who were like, ‘It’s scary. You might not connect right away. You might not fall in love right away.’ So I felt so prepared to be forgiving.”

“I remember walking with one of my best friends at, like, nine months, and being like, ‘Everyone keeps saying that I will love my baby more than my cat. But that’s not true. Maybe I’ll love him as much as my cat?’ she joked.

But she, of course, fell in love with little Cy instantly explaining that the morning after she gave birth, she felt like it was “day one” of her new life.

“I just stared. I was just so in love. I also fell in love with all babies everywhere. Newborns are just so amazing. They’re these pink, swollen, fragile little survivors. Now I love all babies. Now I hear a baby crying in a restaurant and I’m like, Awwww, preciousssss.”

Jennifer went on to talk about how many of her films in the past were to do with her mother and her childhood, but now she can’t help but think about the fact that she’s witnessing somebody else’s childhood.

“My heart has stretched to a capacity that I didn’t know about,” including both her husband and baby Cy in that. “And then they’re both just, like, out there—walking around, crossing streets. He’s gonna drive one day,” she said in reference to Cy. “He’s gonna be a stupid teenager and be behind the wheel of a car. And I’m just gonna be like, Good night! You know? Like, who sleeps?”

“I mean the euphoria of Cy is just—Jesus, it’s impossible,” she continued to tell Vogue. “I always tell him, I love you so much it’s impossible.”

Jen stop, you’re gonna make us tear up!!
