Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Are Reportedly Planning A Second Wedding…This Time More Lavished Than Before

If there is one thing we know about celebrity weddings; they’re rarely quiet affairs. Think Paris Hilton’s seven wedding dresses, Britney Spears’ star studded guest list that could have been a wedding or the VMA’s red carpet, and Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz’s reported $4 million or €3.9 million celebration.

So imagine our surprise when Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck opted for a low-key Las Vegas wedding!

The pair kept things very casual, only bring their children along for the ceremony. But it seems that simple wedding wasn’t the end of the celebrations. Much like their fellow Little White Chapel alumni Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, Ben and Jen are reportedly planning another wedding…but this time with all the opulence.

According to Page Six, Bennifer have hired luxury event planner Colin Cowie to organise their lavished big day. He is an EXTREMELY big deal in the Hollywood party planning scene, being a favourite of stars like Kim Kardashian, Opera Winfred, and Nicole Kidman. According to his company’s site, their goal is, “to create once in a lifetime events for our clients and their guests.”

But these once in a lifetime events will cost you, as he works, “with budgets ranging from $25,000 to $25 million.”

It’s certainly a hefty price tag but not uncommon for A-listers like Ben and Jen, and speaking of A-listers, what celebs can we expect on the guest list?

Well, the second looks set to be a big departure from their small Vegas nuptials. A source told Page Six their second wedding will have a big guest lists, inviting, “everyone they love but could not invite” to the first celebration.

Mentioning names like Ben’s best friend Matt Damon, his brother Casey Affleck, Jen’s Shades of Blue co-star, Drea de Matteo, along with mutual friends like Jimmy Kimmel.

For location, it seems the pair will be keeping things close to home. Reportedly planning to party in Ben’s 87-acre property in Riceboro, Georgia.

With the celebration supposedly being a multi-day affair, with stop overs in the near by St. Simons Island known for it’s stunning beaches and iconic lighthouse.

Their next wedding will reportedly take place in the coming weeks. So we’ll be keeping our eyes out for any gossip from the big day.
