Jennifer Lopez Is Not Particularly Bothered By The Rumours That A-Rod Cheated On Her

"I mean, it doesn't matter."

Last month, Alex Rodriguez proposed to Jennifer Lopez on a beach in the Bahamas with an absolutely enormous rock.

J Lo and A-Rod were congratulated by all their famous friends (including Barack Obama, who sent them a note), but not everyone was delighted for the newly-engaged couple.

Alex’s former baseball teammate Jose Canseco caused a bit of a ruckus when, barely a day after the announcement, he tweeted that Alex had been cheating on J Lo with his ex-wife:

Jose said he was willing to take a polygraph test to prove that he was telling the truth, and challenged Alex to “a boxing match or an MMA match” for Jennifer’s honour. Jessica Canseco later denied the allegations herself, saying she hadn’t seen Alex for over five years.

“I certainly did not sleep with him,” she continued. “I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose, he can keep playing with his alien friends.” (Her ex-husband has infamously claimed to be ‘buddies’ with extra-terrestrials.)

Jose still insists that he’s telling the truth, helped by a British Playboy model who says that A-Rod had been sexting her just weeks before he proposed to J Lo.

The singer and actress has been quiet about all this funny business so far, but finally addressed the rumours during a radio interview yesterday.

“I mean, it doesn’t matter,” she said on the show The Breakfast Club, laughing it all off.

I know what the truth is. I know who [Alex] is. He knows who I am. We’re just happy. We’re not gonna let other people come out and tell us what our relationship is. I know what our relationship is.

Fair enough. Your man would have to be absolutely MAD to cheat. This is J Lo we’re talking about. JENNIFER LOPEZ. We know A-Rod has a reputation for being a ladies’ man, but we think he recognises he’s got a good thing going. As well he should.
