Jennifer Lopez Is Returning To Music With A New Album

Don't be fooled by the films that she got, she's still Jenny from the music industry!

Jennifer Lopez had an amazing year. From bringing back the romcom with Marry Me, releasing her documentary Halftime, and marry her longtime love Ben Affleck (twice).

But even with that Jen still found time to work on new music, as the singer just announced her first album in eight years.

Sharing the news on the anniversary of her 2002 album, This Is Me… Then, her next album is a nod to it, being titled, This Is Me… Now.

In her video announcement, Jen is seen transforming from her 2002 self, to her 2022 self.

So what can we expect from This Is Me…Now?

Well, when it comes to sound Jennifer has a huge range, so really it could be anything from dance tracks to ballads.

But we do know the full track, as she released all 13 song names. With the album featuring: This Is Me … Now, To Be Yours, Mad in Love, Can’t Get Enough, Rebound, not. going. anywhere., Dear Ben pt. ll, Hummingbird, Hearts and Flowers, Broken Like Me, This Time Around, Midnight Trip to Vegas, and Greatest Love Story Never Told.

And yes you did read that right, one of the tracks is called Dear Ben pt.II, a nod to her new hubby.

Judging by a lot of the title and Jen’s newlywed status it seems like a pretty romantic album. We cannot wait to get the inside scoop on Bennifer’s romance through songs!

Ben and Jen tied the knot in a Las Vegas wedding in July.

Going into detail about the night and how it was exactly how the couple imagined Jennifer shared in her newsletter On The Jlo: “Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”

“Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday—all of us wanting the same thing— for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage”

The couple also hosted a bigger celebration in August. Renewing their vows amongst all their friends and family at Ben’s Georgia home.
