Conor McGregor fans had quite the surprise waiting for them on Twitter when they woke up this morning: some hot-off-the-press snaps of The Notorious C McG’s toned bum.

The fighter appears buck naked in ESPN Magazine’s 2016 Body Issue, and he took to social media this morning to share a choice snap from the shoot.

Speaking to the magazine, Conor put his stamina for gruelling training and hardcore fighting down to his ancestry.

“I tell you what, the Irish genes are good. They’ve served me well. We are made tough,” he said. “We are made of steel. So I have no doubt the blood in my genes, the Irish blood in me has definitely stood me. My family’s lineage, we are warriors.”

Made of steel? Looking at today’s pic, we’re inclined to agree.
