Jerry Harris Of ‘Cheer’ Has Been Arrested After An FBI Search

Reports have been released that Jerry Harris from Cheer has been arrested. According to The Chicago Sun-Times, the FBI executed a search in his home and he has since been arrested on production of child pornography charges.

Jerry has yet to respond, however his representative has released a statement saying he disputes the claims.

According to USA Today, a criminal investigation was initially brought on by 14-year-old twin brothers who report they were harassed by Jerry both online and at cheerleading competitions when they were 13, and that the incidents happened over the course of a year. It has also been reported that the brothers have filed a civil lawsuit on the allegations.

When the allegations came to light, a Varsity Brands representative told ABC News: “We can’t comment on an active law enforcement investigation; we continue to cooperate with authorities in their inquiries on this matter.”

Jerry Harris was since arrested yesterday morning and later appeared in court in Chicago.
