Joe Jonas Addresses His Divorce From Sophie Turner On Stage

Joe Jonas has broken his silence on his separation from Sophie Turner.

The pair were married for four years, and released a joint statement on Instagram to say that they were calling it quits. Outside of this, both Sophie and Joe hadn’t addressed the situation.

However, over the weekend, Joe allegedly took an opportunity on stage to make a statement.

Twitter user Katcy Stephens shared a video that shows Joe telling fans at the Dodger Stadium in LA that it had been a “tough week”, while performing with his siblings as The Jonas Brothers.

He  apparently seems to reference the fact that there has been a lot of speculation surrounding the reasons for his and Sophie’s relationship ending.

“I just wanna say, look: if you don’t hear it from these lips, don’t believe it. Okay?” the singer implores in the clip.

“Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys.”

Joe then broke into a rendition of Hesitate, which is a song that was supposedly inspired by Sophie.

While the comment seems standard from a celeb whose going through a divorce, many fans questioned the phrasing.

Some felt that Joe’s comment was worded in a way to imply that people shouldn’t listen to what Sophie may eventually have to say about their split.
