Kanye’s GF Julia Fox Was In A SKIMS Campaign Two Years Ago

Listen, dealing with an ex can be awkward for most people. Sometimes you try a forced friendship. Other times you map out a new route to work so you can avoid your former flame. If you’re Kanye West or Ye, well, you proclaim your love for your ex, insist you’re not broken up, then start seeing their brand model.

Yep as if the Ye/Kim Kardashian/Julia Fox drama wasn’t confusing enough, it was discovered that Julia sort of used to work for Ye’s ex-wife herself, Kim Kardashian.

Dedicated fans trawled through the archives and discovered a modelling campaign Juila did for Kim’s shapewear brand, Skims, back in 2019. Julia posted pics of her modelling a t-shirt and bra from Skim’s Summer Mesh collection to her I.G. story and tagged the brand.

Skim’s official Instagram account then reshared her snaps and captioned their post, “@juliafox wears the summer mesh t-shirt and triangle bralette in onyx – launching Thursday, May 21”

Considering Julia had the items before they launched, it seems like she would have had to be on Kim or the Skim’s teams radar to be sent the products before they were available. So yeah, as awkward as that situation might be, it turns out it isn’t even Julia’s first pre-Ye connection to the family.

Just last month, before her first date with Ye, Julia discussed the Kardashians on her podcast Forbidden Fruits and revealed she was a “die-hard” “O.G.” fan of the reality royalty.

Telling co-host Niki Takesh, “I’m gonna miss Keeping Up,”

“I’ve been watching Keeping Up since it first came out in like 2007, when watching it was embarrassing. ”

“I, like, wanted them to be my family.”

So saying you wanted to be part of your B.F.’s ex-wife’s family is…not an ideal situation. But in Julia’s defence, she said this before her relationship with Ye, and well, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn’t talked about The Kardashian’s before.

Ye and Julia met on New Year’s Eve at a performance of his in Miami. The pair hit it off so well they decide to go on a date. Their first date consisted of seeing a play, Ye directing a public photo shoot of Julia, and then surprising her with a hotel room full of clothes.

Julia wrote a blog post about the date for Interview magazine and said, “I don’t know where things are headed, but if this is any indication of the future, I’m loving the ride.”
