The annual Kardashian Christmas Eve party has been cancelled.
Revealing the sad news, Khloe Kardashian took to Twitter explaining that the whole family wishes the outcome was different, but unfortunately, don’t feel it’s safe enough to hold such a large gathering.
“The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA so we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year. It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978 I believe. Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must,” the 36-year-old tweeted.

And between Khloe having coronavirus herself, and the last KarJenner bash for Kendall’s 25th, coming under a lot of heat for their “no social media” rule – it looks like E!’s favourite family are laying low this winter.
Continuing, Khloe answered more questions on Twitter, following on from the cancellation of the party (for the first time in 42 years!) Khloe also announced that there is no Christmas card reveal this year. Another one of the Kardashian traditions that we won’t be seeing on their socials.
Adding that “covid has taken over”, Khloe sadly revealed that all plans are taking a backseat this year, but their priority is on their health and the wellbeing of others.

Recently explaining on a radio show that she’s “very sensitive” to what’s going on, Momager Kris Jenner told Andy Cohen on SirusXM that they’re trying to be good people and constantly do what’s right.
Well, there you have it, no bash for the shlebs this year, but we’re sure the Kardashians will host some form of intimate gathering for us all to swoon over.
The final season of KUWTK also lands early next year, so this is also their final Christmas filming *sobs*.
