Kensington Palace Have Denied Reports That Harry & Meghan Want To Raise Their Baby ‘Gender Fluid’
Harry and Meghan are without doubt a new wave of Royals.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex married in a very public ceremony last May – making Meghan the first American celebrity member of the British Royal Family, and it’s safe to say we are obsessed.
Now, the pair are expecting their first baby together, and the world is waiting to meet what is sure to be an adorable little cousin for Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Despite being born into such a high profile life (the baba will automatically be seventh in line for the throne) – the new Royal is already making headlines as to what gender they will be raised.
According to a report in Vanity Fair, Meghan told guests at her swanky New York baby shower that her and Harry want to raise their baby ‘gender fluid.’
“Meghan has been talking to some of her friends about the birth and how she and Harry plan to raise their baby.
“Her exact word was fluid. She said they plan to raise their child with a fluid approach to gender and they won’t be imposing any stereotypes.”
Now, despite the obvious reasons, we can’t be the only ones that think the way in which a baby is raised is no one else’s concern but the parents, right?
Well that may not be the case for Harry and Megs, as Kensington Palace have quickly chimed in to deny the reports, and deny that the Duchess even said such a thing.
“This story is totally false,” they said in a statement.
We love the idea of the new parents not enforcing stereotypes on their kids if this does turn out to be true!
