Kim and Khloé Kardashian Have Responded To Jameela Jamil Criticising Their Weight Loss Ads

It’s no secret that Jameela Jamil isn’t a massive fan of the Kardashians and how they make their money. The Good Place actress has called out Kim and Khloé multiple times over recent months for advertising weight loss products, including lollipops and skinny teas.

In the past, Jameela has called Kim a “terrible and toxic influence on young girls” and says that her posts “makes me feel actual despair over what women are reduced to.”

Jameela has also responded to Khloé’s promotion of Flat Tummy shakes, commenting on her Insta #ad: “If you’re too irresponsible to: a) own up to the fact that you have a personal trainer, nutritionist, probable chef, and a surgeon to achieve your aesthetic, rather than this laxative product…And b) tell them the side effects of this NON-FDA approved product, that most doctors are saying aren’t healthy […] then I guess I have to.”

Now, Kim and Khloé have addressed Jameela’s comments, and they’re not too bothered it seems.

In an interview with the The New York Times, when asked about Jameela’s criticisms, Khloé responded, “I don’t live in that negative energy space. Ninety percent of people will be really excited about the family and the journey and who we are.”

Khloé also added that she’s never had a chef and that she shares her work outs on Snapchat, saying, “Well, listen, I am showing you what to do, silly person, 15 repetitions, three times, here’s the move…” We don’t really know what she’s trying to say here, but okay Khlo.

Kim talked about the financial motivations behind some of her Insta ads, saying, “If there is work that is really easy that doesn’t take away from our kids, that’s like a huge priority, if someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider.

You’re going to get backlash for almost everything so as long as you like it or believe in it or it’s worth it financially, whatever your decision may be, as long as you’re O.K. with that.”

Jameela has responded to the Kardashian sister’s comments, tweeting: “Essentially, “f*ck the young, impressionable people, or those struggling with eating disorders, we want the money.” I have been given these same opportunities to flog this stuff, and I don’t do it, so they don’t have to. Thank you, next.”
