Kim Kardashian has been forced to defend the decision she made to straighten her daughter North’s hair for her birthday last month.

No stranger to controversy regarding cultural beauty herself, Kim K has come under online fire for pictures of her six-year-old daughter North walking around NYC sporting straight hair, a far cry from her natural adorable curls.

Kimmy then posted a snap of Nori with her dad, Kanye, and her hair was long and sleek, causing fans to weigh in in whether or not Kim should be straightening her daughter’s hair.

“Don’t straighten her hair too much it’ll ruin her curls ?..I did that to my hair and ruined it but I’m finally getting my natural curly hair back.” one fan commented under the post.
