Kim Kardashian Has Issued An Online Plea For Landlords Willing To Take In Former Inmate Matthew Charles

Kim Kardashian has been using her super powers for good these past few years, as she tackles what she sees as injustice in the US criminal systems.

Last year KKW was a huge part of the release of 63-year-old Alice Johnson, a woman who was jailed for life for a first time, non violent drug offence. Kim called on her contacts at the White House to life the sentence and Alice is now walking free!

But Kimmy hasn’t stopped there. This week, the reality star announced that she would be paying five years of rent for former inmate Matthew Charles, a prisoner who was released in January after serving over 20 years of a 35 year sentence for drug trafficking.

Now, despite Kim’s generous offer, she has had to send out a very public plea for landlords willing to take on the former convict – as his initial lease application was rejected.

Charles recently took to Facebook to thank Mrs West for his generosity, and said it was NOT for attention.

“Kim did not do this for attention or publicity, but I had to share it, because it’s to good not to, and my heart is about to burst with happiness, that I wish you to rejoice in this news with me,” Charles wrote on Facebook. “THANK YOU KIM KARDISHIAN-WEST and TRACY FOR THE LOVE SHOWN TO ME WHEN I WAS LOCKED UP. AND NOW THAT I’M FREE.. MY HEART IS ENLARGED.”
