Kim Kardashian On Why She’s ‘Taking The High Road’ With Kanye West

It’s clear to anyone and everyone that there’s been a whole lot of drama surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West following their split. But one person who’s not here for the drama is Kim K herself, sharing that when it comes to Kanye, she’ll now be ‘taking the high road’.

During Kim’s appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ellen turned the conversation to what’s been happening with Kim and Kanye in the public lately, particularly on Kanye’s behaviour.

Ellen praised Kim for how she’s handling things, and how she “protects” Kanye for the sake of their kids.

In response to this, Kim replied: “I think that’s just who I am and I always had such a good example in my mom and my dad and their relationship.

“So I’m always just hopeful and no matter what goes on, it’s the father of my kids. I’ll always be protective. I always want my kids to just see the best of the best.”

“I just try to – as hard as it can be sometimes – I do try to ignore it and try to do whatever’s best for the kids,” she added. “Take the high road.”

Just recently, a screenshot of a conversation between Kanye and Kim’s other half, Pete Davidson, was shared online.

In the screenshot, Pete wrote: “I’ve decided that I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m done being quiet. Grow the f—k up.” Kanye responded, “Oh you using profanity. Where are you right now?” Pete replied, “In bed with your wife,” along with a selfie of him laying on a bed.

During the conversation, Pete went on to praise what a good mother Kim is, saying she is “literally the best mother I’ve ever met”.

Since then, a source close to Kim has revealed to E! News that she’s “so grateful” for Pete’s support.

Continuing, they shared: “He’s really been a great partner and has been there for her through all of this. “It’s been a very stressful time dealing with Kanye and coordinating the kids with him.” Read more on that here.
