Kim Kardashian Wants to Be Legally Declared As Single

There’s been a LOT going on for Kim K lately: her divorce dominating the headline, her romance (dare I call it that?) with Pete Davidson and the fact that she passed the baby bar (yay for Kim!). But throughout all of that, there’s been rumours here and there that Kanye might try to make things work.

The rumours fizzled out quickly, but it’s now clear that our Kimmy K is over it as she wants to legally be declared as single.

According to TMZ, Kim filed legal documents requesting that a judge declare her legally single amid her and Kanye’s ongoing divorce. So basically, before any other issues related to the divorce – such as child custody, property, etc, she wants to settle the issue of her legal marital status.

TMZ shared that Kim also requested that her “maiden name be restored,” so she’s officially done and dusted with being a West.

And what’s more, Kim filed the paperwork just hours after Kanye got ‘Kimberly’ trending on Twitter when during a performance with Drake at the Free Larry Hoover benefit concert in Los Angeles, he changed the lyrics to his hit ‘Runaway’ to:

“I need you to run right back, baby, more specifically, Kimberly.”

I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t seem like a coincidence to me.

A source also revealed to People that Kim “knows where Kanye’s head is” when it comes to their marriage but “ignores it,” adding that Kim has “moved on” but “knows it’s difficult for Kanye to deal with”.

“She isn’t surprised that he pleads in public for her to run back to him,” the source added, “She is just trying to be respectful about it.”
