Kourtney Kardashian And Travis Barker Speak Out Following His Recent Hospitalisation

Earlier this week, news broke that Travis Barker had been rushed to hospital, in an ambulance with wife Kourtney Kardashian by his side.

Since then the pair have been understandably quiet, with Travis’ daughter Alabama being the only one giving a few updates on social media in regards to his health.

But Travis has returned to social media, giving fans an update on his current health. Writing; “I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.”

“During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube.”

According to TMZ he was suffering from pancreatitis, which Travis then confirmed himself.

Sharing, “This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis.”

Reassuring fans that his health had improved, he wrote, “I am so very very grateful that with intensive treatment I am currently much better.”

Travis’ wife Kourtney also released a statement, writing on Instagram, “Oh what a scary and emotional week it has been, our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change.”

Thanking fans for their support, she said, “I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative.”

“I am so so thankful to our specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay.”

This incident happens just one month after Travis married Kourtney Kardashian in a lavish Italian ceremony. The couples’ close friends and family joined them in Portofino to celebrate their love.

We hope he makes a speedy recovery!
