"You are about to get one of the best jobs in telly."

Laura Whitmore is most definitely the presenter of the moment. After successfully stepping in for Caroline Flack on the last season of Love Island she was catapulted to a new level of fame.

Following Caroline’s tragic death earlier this year Laura was praised for her professionalism in how she continued with the show.

Since it has been announced that Love Island is on hold until 2021 Laura has been tipped to replace Holly Willoughby on ITV show Celebrity Juice.

The This Morning presenter announced the news in an emotional Instagram post last week, reminding her fans that she has been part of the show for 12 years; “I can’t quite believe what we’ve done and how quick that time has gone. Thank you to you all for watching..we’ve always had the loudest and best audiences.”

“It’s time for me to hand over my team captain seat to some lucky lucky person… whoever that is, know you are about to get one of the best jobs in telly working with one of comedies finest… @keithlemon
Rumours have of course been circulating since over who will replace Holly. First tipped was Michelle Keegan but she has denied the rumours, and now it is said to be Ireland’s own Laura Whitmore.

Laura was a guest on the show a few days ago joining virtually from her London flat. The Mirror have since reported that an insider confirmed the Bray native is in talks for the show; “Laura has been a familiar ITV face for over a decade now and she is perfect to retain the show’s younger audience.”

We hope these rumours are true as Love Island 2021 feels like forever away!
