Leni Klum Walks in Heidi’s Footsteps As She Hits Dolce & Gabbana Catwalk

Watch out everyone there’s a new Klum on the modelling scene and her name is Leni!!

The 18-year-old took to the runway in Sicily, Italy over the weekend to strut her stuff for Dolce & Gabbana’s latest show.

The luxury fashion house is celebrating 10 years of Alta Moda, which is always an exultant affair between fashion, food, craftsmanship and culture. This year, to mark the occasion since the launch of the duo’s distinctly Italian answer to haute couture, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana turned the dial up yet another notch.

Leni’s mum and former supermodel, Heidi Klum couldn’t contain her excitement as her daughter took to the iconic runway. Showing her support on the night, the mum-of-four shared an array of photos to Instagram, documenting Leni’s special moment for the fashion brand.

Of course, Heidi wasn’t the only one showing support, as the star-studded guest list included Helen Mirren, Mariah Carey, Sharon Stone, and Lupita Nyong’o to name but a few!

Last year, the proud mum revealed her concerns for Leni’s modelling career to People magazine, sharing how she thought she was “too young.”

Leni is the oldest of Heidi’s four children, along with Lou 12, Jonah 15, and Henry 16, so naturally, you can understand Heidi having these worries over her eldest daughter — even if she has been modelling for some time now. However, despite these initial thoughts, she couldn’t be more proud of how far she’s come.

Revealing to People, Heidi talked about Leni’s love for it all saying: “It’s amazing to watch her do it all. She’s been coming to my sets for her entire life and she’s not really afraid of the cameras being stuck in her face. She’s done so much over the years, she loves it!”
