Lewis Burton Has Spoken Out To Defend Caroline Flack After Her Arrest

Last week, news broke that Caroline Flack had been arrested and charged with actual bodily harm following an alleged argument with her boyfriend Lewis Burton. It had been reported that Lewis was taken to hospital by an ambulance to be ‘treated for injuries’. Now, Lewis has taken to his Instagram account to defend his ‘loyal and kind’ girlfriend.

On his Instagram Stories, Lewis says that Caroline is being made the subject of a “witch hunt”, and denying that he ever signed a non-disclosure agreement. This comes after Andrew Brady, Caroline’s ex, released what seemed to be an NDA on his social media.

Lewis posted “I’m tired of the lies and abuse aimed at my girlfriend. This is not a witch hunt this is someone’s life. I have not signed any NDA. Why would I? Caroline is the most lovely girl. Loyal and kind. She doesn’t deserve any of this.”

Caroline has yet to make a statement about the incident. Although she is due to fly to South Africa after Christmas to film Love Island, it’s not known whether the show will be affected or not.
