Get well soon soon, Lewis!

Fans who had tickets for upcoming Lewis Capaldi gigs will be disappointed to hear that the singer has cancelled all of his upcoming gigs until his show at Glastonbury on June 24th.

In a post across his social media, the ‘Bruises’ singer shared that he has been ‘struggling to get to grips’ with how full on the last few months have been, both physically and mentally.

Alongside a number of gigs in the UK, Capaldi had been set to play at the Olympia last night for FM104’s ‘The Gig’ in aid of Childline. The event will be postponed, though the singer’s team announced he would be personally donating £50,000 (roughly €58,000) to the ISPCC.

Lewis explained in his statement that he needs to spend some time with friends and family, to do ‘normal life things’, and that he is getting all the support he needs right now.

The pop star has been vocal about his mental health in the past. In a Netflix documentary earlier this year, he detailed his difficulties, and also shared the toll a diagnosis of Tourettes syndrome had taken on his personal and professional life.

For the fans who have been lucky enough to secure tickets for Electric Picnic, the singer should be back in action to perform alongside his bestie Niall Horan, Billie Eilish, Fred Again and many more. What a line up!

We hope the singer gets all the rest he needs.
