Liberty Sets The Record Straight About THAT Chat With Hugo

Love Island’s Liberty Poole has finally addressed the chat she had with Hugo Hammond in the Love Island villa.

When Hugo left the villa he shared that he had had a secret chat with Liberty that never aired. The pair seemed to be just friends on the show so this information sent fans into a frenzy.

Now, Liberty is clearing up the rumours.

In a Q&A on Instagram Liberty said, “This ‘intimate chat’, it was literally just me and Hugo sat down. I was like, ‘What do you do?’

“Blah blah blah. It was very much just friends, there was no sexual chemistry there between us.

“I love Hugo as a mate, but that’s all the chat was.”

Well, now we know!

Liberty left the villa just days before the final when herself and Jake Cornish decided to end their relationship.

But not making it to the final hasn’t made a difference to her success post Love Island. The former Nandos waitress teased that she has a lot of “surprises” in store when she was asked what’s next for her career.

“Nothing’s been confirmed yet, obviously I haven’t been out of the villa that long, but I’ve had a lot of opportunities and I’m looking forward to you guys being a part of it maybe and seeing what happens,” she said.

Liberty gained a huge fan base on the show and was the first Islander to get one million followers on Instagram, she now has 1.3 million and counting.
