‘Scared To Death’: So Lionel Richie Is None Too Happy About His Daughter Sofia Dating Scott Disick

Sofia Richie is a real daddy’s girl and has a super close relationship with her papa, Lionel. So you can imagine his fear when she told him she’s dating a man almost double her age.

The 19-year-old model is currently going out with 34-year-old Scott Disick who has three children with his ex, Kourtney Kardashian, and Sofia’s dad has opened up about his, um, thoughts on the matter. Speaking to Us Weekly, he said, “Have I been in shock?! I’m the dad, come on!” We’ll take that as a yes.

Then when asked if he was happy for the new couple, the singer replied, “I’m scared to death, are you kidding me?”

Sofia and Scott are in the early stages of their relationship but they seem to be getting closer than ever. An insider told People, “Scott likes having her around, she isn’t a wild party animal.” They also added that, “Sofia calls Scott her boyfriend, she thinks he is the best.”

They were recently spotted enjoying a holiday in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and in some of the pics, Sofia has entwined her body around his for ultimate cuddles, in others, they’re kissing in the ocean. We can see why Lionel’s not happy.
