Louis Tomlinson Helps An 83-Year-Old Man Tick Things Off His Bucket List In A New Video

Prepare to sob.

Feel like having a good cry of a Thursday? Well, Louis Tomlinson has just released a video that’s sure to tug on your heart strings.

Announcing the video for his song ‘Two of Us’ on his Instagram yesterday, Louis wrote:

“A month or so ago I met an amazing man called Richard. He had a few things he wanted to do so I thought I’d help him out. This video feels particularly relevant and powerful to me.”

Louis continued, “Richard is a classic example of a fearless man who in light of tragedy still pushes himself to live with as much laughter and happiness as possible.”

Richard is an 83-year-old man from Yorkshire who Louis decided to help tick things off his bucket list. He lost his wife to Alzheimer’s in 2016, around the same time Louis’ mam passed away.

“I lost someone around the same time. My mum,” Louis shared in the video. “I heard Richard had a bucket list. Things he’d always wanted to do. So I went to see him.”

From flying a helicopter and driving a race car, to riding a roller coaster and singing in a packed arena, Louis helped Richard accomplish some of the things he’s always wanted to do.

The video encourages donations to Cancer Research, Alzheimer’s Society and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Louis’ mother Johannah Deakin died from leukemia in 2016 at the age of 43. His 18-year-old sister Felicite died last month after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest.
