Louise Cooney Reveals How Far Along She Is With First Pregnancy
“Its something I’ve always dreamed of since being a teenager"
Louise Cooney is opening about her pregnancy as she stepped out at the Platinum VIP Style Awards.
The influencer announced she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Mark, on Instagram last week, and has shared her gratitude for the sweet response from followers.
“It was lovely you know, like everyone was so so nice and incredibly happy for us. It made us so excited all over again, you know and then extended friends and family and now everyone knows. It just makes this easier to talk about and plan for and no secrets anymore,” she gushed.
Admitting that the reality of being pregnant hasn’t quite settled in yet, Louise said: “I’m still getting there, I’m 17 weeks now, so we’ll have a 20 week scan and then we’ll go and buy something. Nothing has really changed yet, its been very gradual, but it’s happening!”
“It’s amazing. When you go to the scan and you see everything happening in there. You’re like, ‘oh, like it’s incredible. It’s like magic!”’
While she is just after announcing the news, starting a family is something Louise has dreamt of for a very long time.
“Its something I’ve always dreamed of since being a teenager and I’ve always been around kids. I have young cousins and my brother is eight years younger than me. So I always remember him being younger.”
“I can’t believe it’s happening and it’s real…its amazing. Its the start of a whole new chapter and we both are like so excited and ready for it even though we’re not at all like we’ve nothing bought and we may be moving and a lot of changes that may be happening but we’re just so excited and I know it will all fall into place.”
“I was always a little bit concerned what if I have trouble and so I’m just so grateful that all is going well so far,” the Limerick native shared.
When it comes to the future Louise is still preparing to rearrange her busy life.
“I guess I just have to start planning for the next couple months down the line and I really have to kind of get my head around the fact that I won’t be able to do as much.”
“It will be weird, but I also have such a good support network that I can ask for advice and I can plan ahead. So I’m kind of starting to do that now,” she said.
